2. DESCRIPTION OF NI60CR15 ALLOYS:
Nichrome 60/15 Resistance Heating Wire is nickel-chromium-iron resistance alloy with heat resisting strength at high temperatures. This alloy is used in numerous domestic appliances and industrial resistors. Nichrome 60/15 Wire has relatively high resistivity and very good resistance to oxidation at high temperatures. The ultimate tensile strength of Nichrome Wire is 105, 000 PSI, yield strength is around 50, 000 PSI and modulus of elasticity is 31 X 106 PSI.
